Quadrant I-5 Center – Lynnwood, Washington

Engineers Northwest provided the structural design for an eight story reinforced concrete building. The concrete floors used post-tensioned cable reinforcing with perimeter concrete ductile moment frames. The perimeter of the structure supports brick veneer panels and glazing.

Disaster Remediation

In October of 2005, Engineers Northwest visited, evaluated and provided on-site engineering services for repair of this retail warehouse after Hurricane Wilma in Cancun, Mexico. Hurricane Wilma was declared a federal national disaster.

Pacific Gateway – Alaska Distributors – Tukwila, WA

This single story warehouse building has an efficient hybrid steel joist and girder/wood roof structure. The exterior walls are site cast tilt-up panels. The building is over 1000 feet long.

Mercer-Yale Building – Seattle, Washington

Engineers Northwest provided the design development and structural documents for this high tech office space. The slabs used post-tensioned concrete and ductile moment frames were placed at perimeter locations. Adjacent to the first floor level the design included extensive landscaping and water features supported on a structural slab over parking.

This parking structure had five levels of parking constructed with long span post-tensioned concrete beams at 20 feet on center.

Oaksdale Commerce Center – Renton, WA

This complex of twenty tilt-up buildings was designed for speed of constuction and ultimate tenant flexibility. The roof structure is of steel construction and the foundation is a conventional concrete spread footing design. The site is 29 acres with over 520,000 square feet of finished space with a value of over $56,000,000.

Washington Farm Bureau – Lacey, WA

3 Story concrete tilt-up building. The floor system is composed of a concrete slab over galvanized composite steel deck over steel joists and steel girders. The building is the home office for the Washington Farm Bureau.
